Add an Intel Core2 Quad processor at 2.0 GHz and 4 GB of dual-channel DDR2 RAM. For video, A pair of 512 MB SLI Pci express GeForce 8500 GT video cards with VGA/DVI/HDTV out. Include two 500 MB SATA300 Harddrives for enough storage for every photo that you've ever taken, all of your home movies and a ton of music and videos. Then add a couple of CD/DVD burners and a flash card reader, a pile of great software for editing your photos, videos and music. Office programs, and security software all on top of Windows Vista. Throw in an Uninterruptible Power Supply with AVR, wireless optical mouse and keyboard, a nice pair of Creative Labs GigaWorks T20 Speakers, and finally, an 8GB usb thumb drive. Add all of this up and you have a great computer for everything from editing your photos and videos to playing the newest high-energy games! There are more than one style of computer available now. Several companies are now manufacturing computers in a small form factor. some are not much bigger than a clock radio or a toaster, and are so quiet that you can barely tell that they are turned on! Some of these models are also very energy efficient, using as little as a half of the power consumed by the average desktop computer.
